About SMC Stainless

James MacDougal Opie
Founded in 1962 by James MacDougal Opie, SMC Stainless has moved from its early days of basic metalwork to become a leader in the production of stainless steel products and sanitation wear for modern Australian architectural and public works across Australia.

SMC Stainless now operates from a state the art facility at OPIE Manufacturing Group in Western Sydney. SMC Stainless is now managed by his Grandson, Tristan Opie.
